My parents flew all the way to Switzerland to cheer me on and support the Canadian Team! It was great to have them here cheering and for them to see their first Ski Mountaineering competitions. My mom, like me loves to dress up for the occasion. My parents arrived in full Canada attire, with custom stickers for the entire team and waving the Canadian flag.

I feel very fortunate for their support in all my athletic pursuits from childhood up until now.

After my Individual Race we were able to get a few laps in on the mountain together. It was their first time in Switzerland and first time skiing in Europe. Thanks for the support and making the big journey Mom and Dad!
