The World Championships are about to begin in Villars-sur-Ollon Switzerland! The is one of the premiere Ski Mountaineering Competitions in the World and it is very exciting to be here with the Canadian Team! I will be competing in the Sprint, Individual and Relay Events.

This year there will be 290 athletes representing 31 countries.

The five events that will be taking place include:

March 10th – Sprint Race

March 11 and 12th – Individual Race (Cadet and Junior age group on the 11th, Seniors on the 12th)

March 13th – Vertical Race

March 15th – Teams Race

March 16th – Relay Race

Athletes are starting to arrive in the village and the excitement for the event is growing! It will be nice to put all of the hard work we have done in training to the test over the next week.
